The Nano-Bio-Photonics (NBP) laboratory at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, is currently seeking applications for a post-doctoral fellow and a full-time research assistant. Responsibilities include optical system development, operation, and optimization, live-cell experiments, image and data analysis, execution of research projects, and publication of research results.
The NBP Lab is dedicated to developing advanced optical microscopy technologies and integrating them with chemical and biological techniques. Through interdisciplinary approaches, the lab quantitatively investigates nanoscale structures and dynamics in living cells. We are particularly focused on exploring nanoscale cell biophysics using our advanced microscope techniques, with an emphasis on cell dynamics in the membranes and the nuclei. Our overarching goal is to resolve molecular organization and dynamics at the nanoscale and establish their correlations with cellular functions. Furthermore, we are actively engaged in the development of innovative methods for label-free quantitative imaging, a facet that holds extensive applications in biophysical studies.
The research team has published in top-tier journals. Learn more about our research activities in the NBP Lab: Link to our recent publication highlights
